Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ Cut and Polish Disc D5 is five strong, durable cut and polish web discs on a Roloc quick change shank. Our D5 disc is a durable, non-woven open web construction that’s load resistant and covers larger areas, irregular or contoured surfaces, bar grates, louvers, vents, and tracks.

Use Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™+ Cut and Polish Disc D5 for working on larger areas, irregular and contoured surfaces, bar grates, louvers, vents and tracks. Our D5 disc is made with a durable, non-woven, open-web construction that is load resistant, runs cool, and is conformable for working on irregular and contoured surfaces. It uses aluminium oxide abrasives which deliver consistent cutting action, and a Roloc attachment system for fast, easy disc change outs and the flexibility to access hard to reach areas. Aluminium oxide offers a high cut-rate and long life. It’s a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures in use to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional abrasives, such as garnet, quickly wear down with use. It’s widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing, for its high cut-rate, hardness, strength, and low heat retention. Aluminium oxide can be used on a wide variety of substrates in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys. Scotch-Brite™ abrasives are unique surface conditioning products with abrasives incorporated into a non-woven fibre matrix. Combining abrasives and non-woven material in this way results in an abrasive system that delivers consistent results for the life of the product. The open-web material runs cool and is load resistant, limiting the clogging of the fibres and keeping the abrasive minerals cutting at high performance. 3M™ Roloc TR quick change discs are smaller discs that have a plastic threaded button or screw designed to easily and quickly screw onto a Roloc TR disc pad* so that operators can conveniently change discs with a simple twist-off, twist-on action. The Roloc TR system provides a secure attachment even for heavy-duty applications. The wide variety of available 3M Roloc discs allows swapping from one application to the next in just seconds. *Sold separately
